WELCOME...
I'm not an expert in blogging, or in advice, but I always have 50 million thoughts in my head so why not share them!!! All I ask is that you don't judge me for what I write! Most of everything will be my thoughts, however, I do have friends with thoughts as well that I might share with you.
In this blog I will talk about any and everything... different things to do, parties, drinks, relationships, sex, friends, enemies, school, work, everyday stress... basically anything that comes to my mind at the time I will write! Good, bad and the ugly. Somethings will make people look at me like WTF but at the same time, it will be 100% the truth...so if u say WTF... all I ask once again is dont judge!
Well, I hope you like it and continue to read as I continue to write!
Thanks,
Ashlea B.

What's interesting about a circle of friends, are the attributes of each individual. Somehow these qualities fill in the emotional gaps
ReplyDeletewe have within ourselves. For example if you are grieving over a death in the family, you instinctively know already who you would call. That person in the circle is the most "Empathetic" he/she brings about comfort that at the moment you are lacking. Or if you're deciding to make a big change in your life and you want positive feedback, you naturally go to the "Encourager" because once again he/she will bring momentum ultimately giving you a a much-needed boost in confidence.
Now on surface all of which I've said sounds really selfish. And that the people you surround yourself with are expendable. You call them as deemed necessary to cater to your emotional woes. This couldn't be far from the truth. It's just something we do; however some folks treat friends like "The Listener" because we all have someone who just is a good listener within our camp as a dumping ground for our problems. Let's Not!!!
The point is to identify who possesses what, because in the long run each persons expertise helps build and solidify your bond. When I was younger my basketball coach continually reminded us that "Association brings upon assimilation" in other words the people you affiliate yourself with whether they be black, white, purple, yellow (high yellow), skinny, big boneded... whatever the case may be your friendship is family, and never let go of the ones who are dearest to you.
My personal definition of friendship: "one who unconditionally accepts the flaws of someone they have personal regard for"
